Important Information

Your phone is compatible with Twigby, however, there are a few things you need to know before continuing.

Due to the age of this phone, it will have limited use due to a recent Sprint network update. Limitations include not receiving Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. Learn more about OTA below.

VOICE & TEXT SERVICE ONLY (NO DATA)

Phones are activated by phone service providers using an OTA method. This OTA method is a requirement in activating access to internet use, etc...on the phone. Since OTA is not available, the phone will not be able to use cellular data. If the phone is capable of connecting to a Wi-Fi network, you have that option for data use. However, without cellular data, you will not be able to send or receive group text messages or any type of picture or video messages.

NO FURTHER SOFTWARE UPDATES

The phone will not receive preferred roaming list (PRL) updates. A PRL is important because it tells your phone what towers to use. Since your phone won’t be able to receive an updated PRL, over time you may experience irregular service if changes are made to the Network that require a PRL update. You also will not receive any software updates from the phone manufacturer since these are sent to the phone via OTA. However, these can possibly be downloaded to a computer and then transferred to the phone using a USB/dongle cable. Learn more

If you decide to move forward in using this phone with Twigby service, it will only be able to
make and receive calls & basic text messages as detailed above. It will continue to work with
your current provider until the request to transfer your phone number is processed. You
will then need to manually program the phone by following the steps found here.
